Self-taught artist specialising in charcoal portraiture.

I started drawing in 2012 when a knee operation left me bed-bound for a while, and I decided to start doodling with a stick of charcoal.

I’m inspired by people, intrigued by self-perception (hence all the self-portraits), and really like nice lines and emotive expressions.

I work big, and I’m beginning to work on an even larger scale, integrating new media with charcoal.
