Earth without art is just 'eh'

House interior design is not easy – so we recommend taking a step back and thinking through our top 5 tips for interior design artwork:
- Buy art you love and learn what makes you tick – you need to love your artwork. So get a feel for your preferences. Build a mood board. Pinterest is a great place to start throwing ideas together.
- Go for minimalist interior design – particularly if you are not confident. A stripped back design with a neutral colour scheme is much easier to get right. Pick neutral colours, and limited features. You can always add to it as it develops – its harder to take complexity away if you get it wrong!
- Use art to bring colour and fun – we recommended neutrality as it creates a canvas. A canvas that you can furnish with art! Of course, don’t sacrifice comfort and functionality it isn’t an art gallery after all. However, if you keep it simple, you can afford to have fun with the artworks! They can be your statement pieces.
- Get it framed - preferably with non-reflective glass. To be safe go for wood, white, or black frames. However, there are some very creative framing options for bolder, daring collectors! If you buy from Creative Debuts, you can email us and quote your order number and we will advise.
