Bio
Sarah Gwyer was born in Gloucestershire in 1985 and now lives and works in the Cotswolds. She describes her practice as ‘Contemporary Pop’, drawing together influences from pop artists Andy Warhol and James Rosenquist through to contemporary artists Jeff Koons and Damien Hirst. Working across textiles, sculpture and print Gwyer’s work reflects on themes of celebrity, consumerism and commercialism. She loves to merge the boundaries between art and craft, pushing ways of working in new directions.
